"...a process to involve, to the extent possible, those whave a stake in a specific offense and to collectively identify and address harms, needs, and obligations, in order to heal and put things as right as possible." - Howard Zehr

“Restorative Justice works by seeking a change of behavior by a change of heart.  Stories touch the heart.  There is healing in storytelling for both the victim and the offender.  Just like the formal criminal justice system and school discipline policies, Restorative Justice wants harmful behavior to stop.  Focusing on repairing relationships, Restorative Justice builds community heals past harms and provides an accountability that prevents future harm.”
- Kris Miner
