Referrals

For courts, law enforcement, social workers, probation, schools or agencies

Things to include with your Referral Form:

  • Your agency information
  • Who SCVRJP should contact regarding this referral
  • Your preferred contact information, phone or email address
  • A police report.
  • For juveniles, include a Consent for Disclosure Form

Three ways to submit your completed Referral Form:

  1. Online from our Contact Us Form
  2. Fax (715-425-1112)
  3. Mail (215 N 2nd Street, Suite 108 River Falls, WI 54022)

SCVRJP will add sessions as needed, our goal is to get referrals scheduled into sessions within 60 days.
Please do not assign referrals to a class. SCVRJP schedules clients into sessions as they call or the referral information is received.
If you are not sure what class is appropriate, please send the referral and indicate that you would like SCVRJP to evaluate the situation and recommend the class.

Referring Victims

Please let victims know SCVRJP staff can best explain the Restorative Justice options that exist (conference, circle, or seminar).

Victims have options:

  • attend the session
  • Send someone
  • Send information.

There is no charge for victims, and victims can participate with other offenders in a surrogate situation. Victims are excellent volunteers and storytellers. SCVRJP respects the needs of victims and those are the primary focus.
Contact Kris Miner, if you have a unique situation or information that could improve or impact any Restorative process.
You are invited to be part of any referral, represent the community, relate the impact and participate in a plan to make things right.
