involve their direct offender or speak with others that have committed similar crimes. A restorative justice program evaluation titled “Out of Trouble”, showed
that 90% of victims that participated in a restorative process would recommend it to a friend. Being satisfied with restorative outcomes was expressed by 89% of the victims surveys. Out of Trouble

Offender Services: SCVRJP programs and classes are designed to promote accountability and healing. From pre-diversion to post adjudication or sentencing SCVRJP hold sessions to support change. Programs are specific to crimes or the process. For example Victim Impact Panels, provide the service needed to restore driving privileges. Victim-Offender Conferencing is a process where parties speak to each other. Victims share how they were impacted and offenders offer explanations, answer questions and participate in plans to make things right.
Community Member Services: SCVRJP provides deep and meaningful volunteer and service learning experiences. Training, support and a variety of activities are available. Community members speak at programs, help with registrations and support the overall functioning of SCVRJP. Please see our volunteer page.
