Katie Johnson works in marketing and development for SCVRJP. She grew up in the small town of Shafer, MN right on the Wisconsin border. Katie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in the spring of 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Her minor was composed of Spanish and Communicative Disorders courses. As a student, she worked on campus in Career Services serving students and alumni by critiquing résumés and cover letters, conducting mock interviews, and facilitating career related workshops. During Katie’s senior year, she interned at SCVRJP and expanded her knowledge on Restorative Justice. She immediately knew this was something she wanted to continue to be a part of to contribute to the community. Katie would like to share her experiences of the program with the community to raise awareness of a resource close to home. |
