The mission of the St. Croix Valley Restorative Justice Program is promoted by a variety of volunteers and a small staff.
Kris Miner, Executive Director

Kris Miner has been working with SCVRJP since the organization was founded in 2001. She began as director in 2005. Under her leadership, St. Croix Valley Restorative Justice Program has expanded programs and services. Kris enjoys the range of activities and skills needed to direct a non-profit. Kris was raised on a ranch in south central South Dakota. She was active in 4-H and took a leadership role in Future Homemakers of America. Kris is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelors in Mass Communications and Masters in Counseling.
Kris has one grown daughter and enjoys restorative justice so much, that her volunteering revolves around the philosophy. She is on the board of directors for Kinnic Falls Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services and a volunteer for the Minnesota Department of Corrections Restorative Justice program and the Hastings Restorative Justice Council.

Carol DeWolf, Office Manager

Carol was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She attended college in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, receiving degrees in environmental science and journalism. Her work career has included editorial and publications positions in Kentucky, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. After a position as a housing specialist with the local public housing authority, she returned to school and earned an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies.
Carol and her husband enjoy going to movies, taking day trips around the region, gardening, and working on projects in their new home.

Steve Flood, Volunteer Coordinator

Steve Flood will be coordinating volunteers, service learning and community service opportunities. He can be reached at scvrjpevents@gmail.com and 715-425-1100 extension 12.
Steve is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. His work background is extensive with over 30 different jobs. His work career includes serving as a social worker in the areas of child protection, juvenile justice and foster care coordinator for Pierce County Human Services. Steve’s education includes a Bachelor of Social Work from UW-River Falls.
Steve enjoys relaxing with his wife Kathy, time with friends and family, home remodeling projects, hiking and volunteering. Steve’s volunteer involvement includes work with the YMCA Leaders Club, the UW-River Falls School of Social Work Alumni Association, the Tomahawk Scout Reservation Staff, Pierce County Friends of Foster Kids and as a Hennepin County Court Appointed Special Advocate.
