How to become a volunteer.

Volunteers are ESSENTIAL to the operation and promotion of SCVRJP. It is through our volunteers that we are able to help serve our community by offering a wide variety of classes that help make our community a better place. Volunteering at SCVRJP can be a very impactful and enriching experience that has proven to create a profound difference for not only our volunteers but also for those who utilize our services. SCVRJP provides opportunities for people to tell their stories, provide support to others, and creates a safe and non-judgmental environment where people can learn from not only their own mistakes but also from the mistakes of others. When we asked our volunteers how they would describe our program to a friend these are some of their quotes:

“A great chance to hear real testimonies and also to share, feels like you can really make a difference.”

“A place to share and belong without being judged.”

“Enriching, educational, uplifting, eye – opening.”

“Powerful – encourages healing and creates hope where there is brokenness.”
